I have been an AirBnB host for over five years, owning and managing three properties. Prior to starting our own AirBnB business, my wife (Melissa) and I had been staying at AirBnBs for years, rarely opting for hotels during travel. My professional background and doctorate in public administration, focusing on public policy and public affairs, helps me understand the housing, regulatory, banking and fiscal challenges one must navigate to succeed.
As a consultant and strategic and crisis communications professor and former university administrator, I value the freedom and flexibility that AirBnB and real estate investment allows for my family — we can live and work from anywhere and travel at the drop of a hat.
